Letter 1 — Witness Account of Green Light Sightings

Dear Mr. Tuck,
I am sorry I cannot recall exact dates, as the dates and times of any sightings escape me. The years 1945 through 1951 involved sightings of Green Lights that mostly occurred during the early part of that period. These originated from what appeared to be a clean report and were located in the Jemez Mountains area.
I can recall several instances of green lights moving at high speed — not of the type of conventional aircraft — in the Jemez area. Their classification should be a matter of record in the logs.
I also recall one instance of five Apache [aircraft] flying over the clouds in the afternoon, traveling from southwest to northeast. [Redacted — (b)(6)], of the Protective Force, was one of the first people to sight these objects. Another person you might check with is [redacted], also of the Protective Force. Any Protective Force members who were on the Hill during the early 1950s should recall the reported sightings from that time.
I am sorry I cannot be of more help. I am sure, however, that if you can obtain more information from the pre-ranch days and above-ground period, the dates and times of the Green Light sightings can be recovered.

Mindful of your interesting report on ball lightning, I am enclosing comments on the same topic by UFO believer James M. McCampbell, in his UFOLOGY (1976), appearing on the new non-fiction shelf at the Mesa Library, call number 629.1338 UL25u.
His chapter "Flight and Propulsion" strengthens my conviction that Einstein — while seemingly straying from the main current of physical research in his later years — was on scent like a bloodhound when he persisted in trying to lock in on a unified field theory.

O capítulo "Voo e Propulsão" reforça minha convicção de que Einstein — embora parecesse se afastar da corrente principal da pesquisa física em seus últimos anos — estava na pista certa, como um cão de caça, ao persistir em sua tentativa de estabelecer uma teoria do campo unificado.
