Interview Context

On September [redacted], 2023, [redacted] and [redacted] and FBI Special Agent [redacted] interviewed [redacted] via FaceTime video. The subject was located in [redacted] at the time of the interview. After being advised of the identity of the interviewing agents and the nature of the interview, [redacted] provided the following information:

Sighting Account

On September [redacted], 2023, at approximately 9:00 AM, [redacted] was at [redacted], driving east toward a test site to acquire data for LiDAR testing.

Convoy composition at time of sighting:

• [redacted] and [redacted] were driving ahead in an F-150.
• Behind them: [redacted] driving a GMC AT4, with [redacted] as passenger.
• Behind that: [redacted] driving a Sprinter van.

After the vehicles drove through a couple of gates, [redacted] observed a bright white light over the horizon, visible through the top right of the vehicle's windshield.

Object behavior:

• Initially stationary in the air.
• Then began moving to the right.
• Then disappeared.
• Total visibility: approximately ten seconds.
• The light maintained a constant apparent size throughout the incident.
• Estimated distance: ten to twenty miles away.
• No vehicle interference was noted by [redacted].

Witness Corroboration

[redacted] pointed the light out to [redacted], but [redacted] looked in the wrong direction. [redacted] was also tall and had the seat leaned back, and was therefore not in a good position to see the light. [redacted] was initially indifferent to the sighting.

Upon arriving at the first test site, [redacted] and [redacted] stated that they had also seen the light, confirming the observation independently.

Interpretation Offered by Witness

[redacted] speculated that the light might have been a meteor coming straight toward them and burning up in the atmosphere.

Composição do comboio no momento do avistamento:

• [redacted] e [redacted] seguiam à frente em uma F-150.
• Atrás deles: [redacted] dirigindo uma GMC AT4, com [redacted] como passageiro.
• Atrás deste: [redacted] dirigindo uma van Sprinter.

Após os veículos passarem por algumas cancelas, [redacted] observou uma luz branca intensa no horizonte, visível pelo canto superior direito do para-brisa do veículo.

Comportamento do objeto:
