Western U.S. UAP Events — Slide Summary (AARO, 2026-05-08)

Four distinct UAP encounters reported by federal law enforcement special agents in the Western United States, occurring at dusk and in pre-dawn hours over a two-day period. Witnesses are identified as USPER1 through USPER7. AARO later independently assessed distances and sizes where noted.

Reading (EN)

1. "Orbs Launching Orbs"

Location: Western U.S. | Time: Dusk (two separate days)

Three teams of two federal law enforcement special agents each (USPER1 through USPER6) independently described seeing orange "orbs" in the sky emit or launch smaller red "orbs" in groups of two to four — three being the general consensus. This is stated to have occurred at least five times. Each time, an orange orb would appear, launch red orbs, then disappear. The orange orb was only visible for one or two seconds.

The red orbs generally moved away from the orange "mother" orb along a horizontal path, though in a couple of instances one red orb was stated to move "heading up at an angle," while another witness stated that sometimes the red orbs would "swoop down" after being launched from the larger orange orb.

These events were witnessed by multiple teams from varying locations and vantage points over a two-day period. Due to the sequential nature of the events, it is not known whether there was a single orange "mother" orb releasing the groups of red orbs, or whether multiple orange orbs were at play.

2. "Large, Fiery Orb"

Location: Western U.S. | Time: Dusk

Two federal law enforcement special agents (USPER5 and USPER6) witnessed a glowing orange orb at a distance of approximately 500–600 meters,* perched close to a rock pinnacle. Size was difficult to determine, but it appeared similar to a "small helicopter cockpit."** Witnesses were unable to clearly see any structure other than the glowing orb, though USPER6 noted that the object "did almost appear it might have had a small spindle or something connecting it from underneath to the rock formation."

Witnesses stated that the object did not emit any noticeable sound. It was described as being "similar to the Eye or [sic] Sauron from Lord of the Rings, except without the pupil, or maybe an orange Storm Electrify bowling ball."

USPER6 stated the object "seemed to be hovering with zero resistance or movement, or to be suspended…" The sighting lasted approximately one minute.

3. "Dark Kite"

Location: Western U.S. | Time: Pre-dawn hours

Two federal law enforcement special agents (USPER5 and USPER6) observed what they initially believed to be a car traveling along a road in a restricted zone. The "car" had two lights — one red and one white — approximately 2–3 feet off the ground. The agents pursued it, and as they closed to within a few hundred feet, the object suddenly moved off the road and over the desert without changing its orientation with respect to the observers — appearing to move laterally — at an estimated speed of 15–20 mph. The object did not change height and appeared to move with "zero resistance."

The object stopped approximately 100 meters off the side of the road and turned off its lights. From the back, USPER6 described it as a "thin line," while USPER5 stated it "almost looked like an ill-defined, dark kite shape that had some rounded width to the sides."*

USPER6 then used night vision goggles (NVGs) to view the object once it had stopped. The agent observed it for "a split second in the NVGs before the light turned off," and once the lights were off, a "very thin line" remained. The object was estimated to be approximately 4 feet wide, positioned horizontally to the ground. It then began moving again at roughly 15–20 mph and appeared to "move up in height…, but [remain] a flat line." The agent lost sight of it after a few seconds.

* In later discussions with AARO, the object is described as triangular.

4. "Transparent Kite"

Location: Western U.S. | Time: Pre-dawn hours (approximately 30 minutes after the "Dark Kite" sighting)

About 30 minutes after the "Dark Kite" sighting, USPER5 and USPER6 returned to the same general area with a third colleague (USPER7) in response to a report of another unauthorized object in the area. Within a few hundred meters of the "Dark Kite" sighting location, USPER5 and USPER6 observed a kite-shaped object with a lighting pattern similar to the object seen previously.

The object was approximately 6 meters off the ground, canted at an angle from lower right to upper left, and appeared to be floating slowly with the wind. USPER5 observed it through NVGs while USPER6 used the bare eye. USPER7 did not see the object.

USPER5 stated that through the night vision goggles, they could "vaguely see a bright star or two in the distance through the object, though somewhat more faint" — leading them to believe the object was somewhat transparent.

After losing sight of it, USPER5 attempted to use a spotlight to reacquire it. The witness noted: "at one point my beam went from shining far into the distance to stopping about 50 yards away on nothing in particular, it just was not projecting into the distance and then it was." When the witness pointed the light back at the spot where the beam had appeared blocked, the light was "projecting into the distance again." The team was unable to reacquire sight of the object.

1. "Orbes Lançando Orbes"

Local: Oeste dos EUA | Hora: Crepúsculo (dois dias distintos)

Três equipes compostas por dois agentes especiais federais cada (USPER1 a USPER6) descreveram de forma independente ter avistado "orbes" laranja no céu emitindo ou lançando orbes vermelhos menores em grupos de dois a quatro — sendo três o consenso geral. Afirma-se que isso ocorreu pelo menos cinco vezes. A cada ocorrência, um orbe laranja aparecia, lançava orbes vermelhos e desaparecia. O orbe laranja ficava visível por apenas um ou dois segundos.

Dois agentes especiais federais (USPER5 e USPER6) testemunharam um orbe laranja luminoso a uma distância de aproximadamente 500–600 metros,* pousado próximo a um pináculo de rocha. 3. "Pipa Escura"

Dois agentes especiais federais (USPER5 e USPER6) observaram o que inicialmente acreditaram ser um carro trafegando por uma estrada em zona restrita. O "carro" tinha duas luzes — uma vermelha e uma branca — a aproximadamente 60–90 centímetros do chão. Os agentes o perseguiram e, ao se aproximarem a algumas centenas de metros, o objeto de repente se deslocou para fora da estrada em direção ao deserto sem alterar sua orientação em relação aos observadores — parecendo se mover lateralmente — a uma velocidade estimada de 25–30 km/h. O objeto parou a aproximadamente 100 metros ao lado da estrada e apagou suas luzes. Visto por trás, USPER6 o descreveu como uma "linha fina," enquanto USPER5 declarou que "quase parecia uma forma de pipa escura e mal definida, com uma largura arredondada nas laterais."*

USPER6 então usou óculos de visão noturna (NVGs) para observar o objeto após sua parada. O agente o observou por "uma fração de segundo nos NVGs antes da luz se apagar" e, com as luzes desligadas, restou apenas uma "linha muito fina." O objeto foi estimado em aproximadamente 1,2 metro de largura, posicionado horizontalmente ao solo. Em seguida, voltou a se mover a cerca de 25–30 km/h e pareceu "ganhar altitude…, mas [permanecer] uma linha plana." O agente o perdeu de vista após alguns segundos.

4. "Pipa Transparente"

Local: Oeste dos EUA | Hora: Horas pré-amanhecer (aproximadamente 30 minutos após o avistamento da "Pipa Escura")

Cerca de 30 minutos após o avistamento da "Pipa Escura," USPER5 e USPER6 retornaram à mesma área geral acompanhados de um terceiro colega (USPER7), em resposta a um relato de outro objeto não autorizado na área. A algumas centenas de metros do local do avistamento anterior, USPER5 e USPER6 observaram um objeto em forma de pipa com um padrão de iluminação semelhante ao objeto visto anteriormente.

O objeto estava a aproximadamente 6 metros do solo, inclinado em ângulo do lado inferior direito para o superior esquerdo, e parecia flutuar lentamente com o vento. USPER5 o observou com NVGs enquanto USPER6 usou a visão a olho nu. USPER7 não viu o objeto.

USPER5 declarou que através dos óculos de visão noturna, podia "vagamente ver uma estrela brilhante ou duas ao longe através do objeto, embora um tanto mais fracas" — levando-o a acreditar que o objeto era parcialmente transparente.

Após perder o objeto de vista, USPER5 tentou usar um holofote para reencontrá-lo. A testemunha relatou: "em determinado momento meu feixe passou de iluminar longe ao longe para parar a cerca de 45 metros em nada em particular, ele simplesmente não estava projetando ao longe e depois estava." Quando a testemunha apontou a luz de volta para o ponto onde o feixe havia aparecido bloqueado, desta vez a luz "estava projetando ao longe novamente." A equipe não conseguiu reavistar o objeto.
