HARRISON declarou que às 17h25, sábado, 16 de abril de 1949, enquanto entregava correspondência de entrega especial em Fort Smith, ele parou seu automóvel em um semáforo localizado na interseção da North Eleventh Street e Grand Avenue. Wade Harrison, Fort Smith post office employe, reported Saturday he had observed what he believed was a "flying disc." Harrison saw what he believed was a "flying disc" as he was driving east on Grand avenue at Eleventh street. He said the object was small and was moving southeastward at a rapid rate of speed. He said the object resembled a tiny mirror. There were no other reports of "flying discs" in the area Saturday.
